B&B in the Burren

“The Burren is a very, very unique place. It has everything. It is a time capsule of the last 6,000 years.”
Prof. David Bellamy

Wild Honey Inn is situated on the edge of Lisdoonvarna the gateway town to the Burren region of north Clare.  The Burren is an ideal location for walking and cycling with many interesting routes to explore.  Co Clare has been chosen as one of Lonely PLanets Top Ten cycling destinations in the world

Close by is the traditional Irish music village of Doolin, where there are regular daily trips to and from the Aran Islands. The world famous Cliffs of Moher are a few miles further along the coast.

Lahinch and Fanore are good surfing beaches and are within easy reach. Fly-fishing in nearby lake Inchiquin is popular as is rock fishing along the coast road between Fanore and Ballyvaughan.

For the golf enthusiast the Gregg Norman designed Doonbeg Golf course is approx. 30 minutes drive. Lahinch Golf Club is a short drive away.
